Flat cancellation charge applies based on class. GST applicable for AC classes.

48 hours to 12 hours before departure

25% of fare deducted, subject to minimum cancellation charge.

12 hours to 4 hours before departure

50% of fare deducted, subject to minimum cancellation charge.

Less than 4 hours before departure

No refund granted.

Tatkal Tickets Cancellation

General Rule

Generally, no refund is granted for Tatkal tickets, except in specific situations like train cancellation.

Tatkal tickets are non-refundable under normal circumstances

Waitlisted Tatkal

Tatkal waitlisted tickets may have nominal charges for cancellation.

Cancellation Rules

Up to 30 minutes before departure

Refund will be processed after deducting the clerkage charge.

Less than 30 minutes before departure

No refund is granted.

  • •E-tickets cannot be cancelled after chart preparation

Refund Process

  • •File a TDR (Ticket Deposit Receipt) for e-ticket refunds
  • •For I-tickets, surrender with Station Master and obtain TDR
  • •Full refund if train is cancelled by railway (within 3 days)
